Privacy Policy
Contact form
When you submit the contact form, it collects your name, email and message, what kind of message it is, the type of project you have in mind, whether you would like a call, and which page or offer you came from. It is emailed to us and stored in our own database on our web host so we can reply and keep track of the conversation. If you ask for a call, you also get an automatic email with a link to book a time on our Google calendar.
Alongside your message we store a hashed version of your IP address (not the address itself), the page you came from, and your browser type. The form also records the time the page loaded and checks a hidden field. These are used only to detect spam and abusive form submissions - never to identify you, and never shared with anyone.
Program Blueprint questionnaire
Your answers are saved on our server as you go, so you can come back to them. A cookie in your browser holds a random key to your saved answers. Only our server can read that cookie; it is not used for tracking or advertising. Saved answers that go 90 days without a change are deleted, and "Start over" deletes them at once.
When you see your free preview, a copy of your answers and the preview's result is also kept in our database, with the same page, browser and hashed IP details as the contact form.
If you use "Save for later", we use the email address you give us to send you the link, and keep a record of it in our database. If you ask for a quote, the details you enter (name, email, school, role, optional phone and message) and your answers are emailed to us and kept in our database.
Purchases
Payments are handled by PayPal. Your card and bank details go to PayPal, never to us. PayPal's payment buttons load only when you choose to pay, and PayPal's privacy statement covers what happens inside them.
For each order we keep the product, the amount, PayPal's order and payment numbers, the payment status, and the email address PayPal gives us for you, which is where your receipt and access link are sent. We keep a scrambled fingerprint of your access link, never the link itself. From time to time we check your payment's status with PayPal, so a refund or reversal can switch access off. Order records are kept as business and tax records.
Spam protection
To stop abuse of our forms, a hashed version of your IP address may be kept for up to a day when a submission is refused, and when a "Save for later" email is sent.
Google reCAPTCHA
The contact page and the Program Blueprint questionnaire use Google reCAPTCHA to tell people from automated spam. There is no puzzle to solve; it runs in the background. To do that, Google collects information about your device and how you use the page, such as your IP address, browser details and cookies it sets, and when you send the form we pass Google the result and your IP address to check it. reCAPTCHA loads on those two pages only. Its use is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 on every page. It sets cookies in your browser so it can recognize a returning visit, and reports aggregated data such as page views, approximate location by region, referring site, and device type. We do not use it to identify individual visitors. Google's handling of this data is described in Google's privacy policy.
Blocking cookies or using a tracker-blocking extension stops this collection entirely, and the site works normally without it.
Cookies
The cookies used on this site are set by Google Analytics, on every page; by Google reCAPTCHA, on the contact page and the questionnaire; and by the questionnaire itself, which keeps the random key to your saved answers described above. PayPal's buttons, when you choose to pay, are covered by PayPal's own statement. Nothing else on the site sets or reads a cookie.
Video samples
Our video samples are hosted on YouTube. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play; the video then plays in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), and YouTube's own terms apply from that point.
Server logs
Our web host records standard access logs - IP address, timestamp, requested page, and browser user agent - as part of operating the server. These are used for security and troubleshooting.
What we do not do
We do not sell or share visitor, questionnaire, order or contact-form data. We do not run advertising on this site.
Your choices
To ask what we hold about you, or to have your contact, questionnaire or quote records deleted, send us a message through our contact form. Order records we must keep for tax purposes stay for as long as the law requires.
